First round grants open for community legal centre family violence fund

Applications are now open for the first round of grants under the Victorian Government's community legal centre family violence fund.

Victorian community legal centres and Aboriginal legal services can apply for a single lump sum payment of up to $50,000 cap per centre for one year to help address current unmet demand for family-violence-related services among vulnerable or disadvantaged Victorians.

To be eligible, services must currently provide family violence-related services supporting victims or respondents.

Applications close at midnight on 29 July 2016 and must be submitted online to the Department of Justice & Regulation via the website CLCgrants.smartygrants.com.au, where guidelines and FAQs are also available.

Please note that hard copy applications will not be accepted.

For general enquiries about the grants process, email Jessica Kujawski at Jessica.Kujawski@justice.vic.gov.au or phone (03) 8654 0805 during business hours.

If you experience technical difficulties while writing or submitting your application online, please contact SmartyGrants Support by email service@smartygrants.com.au or phone (03) 9320 6888 during business hours.
