Loddon Campaspe and Goulburn Valley CLCs get welcome Federal funding boost
The Federation has welcomed today's announcement of a Federal funding boost to Loddon Campaspe and Goulburn Valley community legal centres. Today's announcement has also been welcomed by the Community Law Australia national access to justuice campaign.
New funding announced today by the Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus means that Goulburn Valley CLC which started as a pilot in 2009 will now get $150,000 of Federal funding and be able to extend service delivery throughout the region where there were gaps in services.
Furthermore, additional funding of $205,000 through the NBN Regional Assistance Program will increase access to legal assistance services, ensuring that people get advice about their legal problems early, to prevent crisis or costly court-based resolutions.
