Our report documents cases of Protective Services Officers exceeding their powers.
PSOs have been exceeding their powers by demanding personal information from commuters without legal justification and where no offence has been committed, forcibly searching commuters who do not comply.
They also have been reported to be using excessive force in a range of circumstances, including against vulnerable people. Download full report (pdf).
